Can you believe my little Brenna turned 3 today!!! We had a fun "Under the Sea" party.  How did anybody plan birthday parties before Pinterest...and how does anybody afford them after Pinterest?  he he

 The birthday girl wanted to be a mermaid for the party.  I learned something from this experience...when you make a kid a costume and you have to try it on them 20 times and then make them take it off again they don't like it.  :)  She LOVED it once it was finally finished though.

 The food.  You can't really tell from the picture but there are swedish fish candies swimming in the Jello.

Brenna's Dance recital

Brenna had her second dance recital this last week. I felt kind of silly having my 2 year old in dance class...but today I was watching the video from her first dance recital (here) and I am amazed at the difference. She's not ready for Juilliard by any means, but I think she is actually learning something! I am so proud of my little girl! (It takes Brenna a little while to come out on the stage...but there is a HILARIOUS little girl in her class that you can watch in the mean time :)




We have the most awesome friends and family who support our little girl!

Oregon coast trip

We took a fun family vacation to the Oregon Coast right after Thanksgiving. We rented this AWESOME beach house.







This walk through shark tank was like...my worst nightmare. I was having a mini anxiety attack and Brenna came up to me and said: "it's ok mommy, it's just sharks, they are nice, hold my hand." How sweet!









We went to the OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry), so fun!
