Touching the stars

I overheard the sweetest little conversation between Zach and Brenna the other night.

Brenna (with arms stretched out): Touch the stars. Reach! Please!
Zach: Oh, I wish you could sweetie.

And I was thinking, "Oh, I hope you never stop trying."

It is so sweet how kids can just make you see the world a little differently sometimes.

A new sister!

Zach's little brother J.D. got married recently. Yay! I just love getting new sisters.

She is sharp, beautiful and just so sweet. It's going to be so fun having her in the fam.

The wedding was awesome. Our camera was being repaired so I stole these off my sister in laws blog. (Since this is my journal/scrapbook afterall)

A home for all my projects-Introducing my OTHER blog

As many of you know I am a craftaholic. The combination of me being excessively cheap and a busy body has lead to a lot of homemade stuff popping up around my house. Since this is my family blog/journal/scrapbook all in one I decided to start up a separate blog to keep track of all the crap I am making. My super talented buddy Ashley and I will both be posting a lot of of our projects/recipes on this blog.
